This privacy statement applies to the use of our website, our contact forms, quotation requests, customer and supplier contacts and other business communication with Fawic B.V.

2. Which personal data do we process?
Fawic processes personal data that you provide to us, data that arises during our business relationship and data that is collected when using our website.
This may include the following data:
first name and last name;
company name;
position;
business e-mail address;
telephone number;
address details;
quotaion and order details;
invoice and payment details;
technical request information;
project information;
correspondence by e-mail, telephone or contact form;
data that you enter via forms on our website;
IP address, browser data, device data and website usage, insofar as this is collected via cookies or analytical tools.
We only process personal data that is necessary for our services, business operations, communication, administration or website analysis.
3. For what purposes do we use personal data?
Fawic processes personal data for the following purposes:

following up quotation requests;
processing technical requests and project information;
preparing and sending quotations;

4. On which legal bases do we process personal data?
We only process personal data when there is a legal basis for doing so. Depending on the situation, we process personal data on the basis of:
Performance of an agreement
For example, when we prepare a quotation, process an order, deliver products or provide service.
Legitimate interest
For example, for business communication, customer management, relationship management, improvement of our services, website security and the management of B2B contacts in our CRM tool.
Legal obligation
For example, for our financial administration and statutory tax retention obligations.
Consent
For example, when consent is required for certain cookies, marketing communication or other processing activities for which consent is required. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Contact forms
When you complete a contact form on our website, we process the data that you enter yourself. This may include your name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your message.
The data from contact forms may be stored within our website environment and/or forwarded to our e-mail environment. In addition, relevant business contact details may be included in our CRM tool, so that we can properly follow up your request.
We use this data solely to handle your question, request or message and to maintain any follow-up contact.
6. CRM and relationship management
Fawic uses a CRM tool to manage business contacts, customer relationships, suppliers, prospects, sales opportunities and project communication.
The following data may be included in our CRM tool:
- name;
- company name;
- position;
- business e-mail address;
- telephone number;
- contact moments;
- quotation and project information;
- interests or relevant business background information;
- follow-up actions and internal notes.
We use this data to properly manage our business relationships, carefully follow up requests and improve our services.
7. Website analysis, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Fawic uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to gain insight into the use of the website and to improve the functioning of the website.
With Google Analytics, we can see, for example, which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the website and how the website performs technically. Google Tag Manager is used to manage scripts and tags on the website.
Insofar as analytical cookies have no or only limited impact on the privacy of visitors, these may be used without prior consent. When cookies or tags are used that allow visitors to be tracked more extensively, profiles to be built or marketing purposes to be supported, we request prior consent via a cookie banner.

8. Marketing and newsletters
Fawic may use business contact details to inform existing relationships or interested business contacts about relevant products, services, projects or developments.
When consent is required for marketing communication, we request this consent in advance. You can always unsubscribe from marketing communication or indicate that you no longer wish to receive commercial messages.
9. With whom do we share personal data?
Fawic does not sell personal data to third parties.
We only share personal data when this is necessary for our services, business operations or legal obligations. This may include:
- hosting providers;
- website administrators or IT service providers;
- e-mail providers;
- CRM providers;
- bookkeepers or accountants;
- payment and administration systems;
- transport or logistics parties;
- suppliers or production partners, insofar as necessary for a request or order;
- legal or financial advisers;
- government authorities, when we are legally obliged to do so.
When we use external service providers that process personal data on our behalf, we make appropriate arrangements regarding security and confidentiality. Where necessary, we conclude a data processing agreement.
10. Transfer outside the European Economic Area
Some software providers or service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, we ensure that this only takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or other legally permitted mechanisms.
11. How long do we retain personal data?
Fawic does not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which the data was collected, unless we are legally obliged to retain data for a longer period.
In general, we apply the following retention periods:
- contact form data: for as long as necessary to handle and follow up the request;
- quotation and project data: for as long as necessary for commercial follow-up, project history, service, warranty or legal interests;
- customer and order data: for as long as necessary for the performance of the agreement, administration, service and legal obligations;
- invoice and administrative data: in accordance with the statutory tax retention period;
- CRM data: for as long as there is a business relationship, relevant commercial follow-up or a legitimate interest;
- analytical data: in accordance with the settings of the analytical tool used;
- marketing data: until you unsubscribe or object to further processing.
When data is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it where possible.
12. Security of personal data
Fawic takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration.
We restrict access to personal data to employees and service providers who need this data for their work. In addition, we use secure systems and appropriate access security.
13. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have various rights with regard to your personal data. You can ask us to:
- access your personal data;
- have personal data corrected;
- have personal data deleted;
- restrict the processing of personal data;
- object to processing;
- transfer personal data, insofar as applicable;
- withdraw previously given consent.

We will respond as quickly as possible and no later than within the statutory period.
14. Filing a complaint
If you believe that Fawic is not handling your personal data carefully, we would like to hear from you so that we can work together to find a solution.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
